Many people with mental disorders do not even realize they could have a mental illness, many will be in denial because of their mental illness, many are shunned from their families because of it and many of them can not hold a job until they at least get some kind of treatment. We really need a better system to help these people, with just a little TLC. Thank you.
I was there twice. I have nothing but good to say about this place. The staff were always nice and I never felt like I was merely a number. A most great place to stay when homeless.

I would also like to note that mental disabilities are a huge contributor to homelessness in our country. And it should be treated just like any other illness. And if homeless shelters really want to help people, they should learn the signs of mental illnesses and have steps in order to help such people.
Clean location.
I did not stay here but I have a loved one who did, twice. The owner of this place really needs to learn to treat people with common dignity. Just because they are homeless does not make them less human. He acted more of a bully to me and was very foul. Far from the encouraging atmosphere these people need to get back up on their feet.
